About Me:
Well, to start with, I have recently turned 34. I have been divorced for about 2 years. I have two handsome boys that live with me. I am currently attending school full-time and have come to realize over the past year or so, that I can be independent (which I love)yet I am still longing for companionship. The evenings get very long when there is no one to share them with.
I have been devoting my time and energy towards my sons and self-improvement. I believe I am now ready to find the other half of my circle. You are by now,no doubt, wondering what I am about. Here it goes:
I am 5'8", 190 lbs(large boned, really), dark brown hair, brown eyes, hispanic origin, libra, recovered alcoholic/addict (over 5 years and serious about staying that way).
I am not the type of person that is stimulated by intellectual conversations, although I can hold my own if need be. I am more a relaxed conversationalist, I think.
I have many interests: Do-it-yourself projects (I think that goes with the independence thing), computers, plan on trying gardening, enjoy camping, fishing, reading(mysteries mainly), movies, music (oldies to hard rock, and everything in between), and the list goes on and on....
What am I looking for? I have given this much thought in the last year. I will be honest with ya, so here goes my list: I DO NOT want a drinker or abusive partner, I do tend to lean more towards the blue collar type, I DO want someone who isn't afraid to love another, I DO want someone with a sense of humor (to be involved in my life you will need one), I DO want someone that knows what personal hygiene means (you would be amazed), I DO want someone who is easy going and relaxed, I DO want someone who can contribute to the household (I am not about money, I mean as far as picking up after themselves). I know this is shallow, but I am looking for someone who is of average looks. I am no godess and do not expect you to be a god, but a prince would do. :)
